Evangelism work is the direct call and responsibility to lend a helping hand to those who are in need. Resource Missionary Group
This mission circle is for those who have information on housing, financial assistance programs, jobs or someone who enjoys finding clothes and other items for individuals in need. Volunteers may also help with resume writing, intermediation with banks, attorneys, etc.
Helping Hands Missionary Group
This group is made up of individuals who will just lend a helping hand to give someone. For example, a ride to the store, cut grass, clean the homes of elderly people, help someone move furniture or even help build habitat homes. This group will need humble men and women who just want to serve.
Penmanship Missionary Group
This group is designed for people who enjoy writing and sending e-mails. They send letters to the incarcerated and write letters to the sick and shut-ins at least once a month.
This group will be responsible for planning drives centered around major holidays like Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. This group will also plan special services for the elderly of our church and our youth.
Visitation Missionary Group
Volunteers in this auxiliary visit hospitals, shut-ins, nursing facilities, and represent the church at distant funerals. They assist the Visitation Ministers, Deacons and Deaconess in their task to visit.
Food and Clothing Bank
This group is responsible for making certain the food and clothing bank is organized and operations are running smoothly. This group will volunteer time and find other volunteers.
“Mission Possible” Youth Missionary Group
This group performs missions work in various capacities, i.e., visiting nursing homes, sponsoring a children’s drive, etc.
Serves to comfort church members in the loss of a loved one. Serves a meal following funeral services for immediate family members.
Volunteers in this auxiliary make petitions to God in prayer for the concerns of others and help fulfill the spiritual needs of the church through prayer.
The Street Outreach Program
Door to door evangelism every fourth Saturday morning of the month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon.
